Iran's ambassador to Vienna's international organizations, Kazem Gharibabadi, held separate talks with senior Brazilian officials on ways to deepen mutual cooperation within the UN.
At the meeting in the Austrian capital on Monday, the two sides praised relations between the Iranian and Brazilian missions in Vienna as "good and constructive" and emphasized the need to continue consultations on various issues and to boost cooperation in international organizations.
Gharibabadi pointed to the history of cooperation between the Islamic Republic and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and praised Brasilia's position on Tehran's peaceful nuclear program.
During the meeting, Brazilian ambassadors in Vienna emphasized that their country stands for and believes in values and principles related to JCPOA. They also stressed that his country defends multilateralism and pragmatism in its foreign policy.
