Iran and Brazil extend cooperation in the area of Health

Ministers of Iranian and Brazilian health at a meeting in Geneva signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at increasing mutual cooperation in the development of medical, research, hygiene and pharmaceutical technologies in the sector.



The document was signed by the Iranian Minister of Health, Hassan Qazizadeh Hashemi, and his Brazilian counterpart, Ricardo Barros, on the sidelines of the 70th World Health Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland.
The Memorandum has been compiled in 8 paragraphs, which is in effect since May 23 will be implemented in the next four years. It includes cooperation in the fields of hygiene, food, medicine, medical and laboratory equipment, medical centers, contagious and non-communicable diseases and research.
