President Michel Temer met with his Portuguese counterpart Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa this Wednesday (30) in Lisbon. The meeting took place in the Palace of Belém, seat of the presidency of the Republic of Portugal.
Temer left Brazil on Tuesday morning (29) and arrived in Lisbon at 10:40 pm (local time). After the meeting with Rebelo de Sousa, Temer continues on to China, where he is scheduled to arrive on Thursday (31).
President Michel Temer will make a State Visit to China and attend the 9th BRICS Summit together with Russia, India, China and South Africa.
While in China - Brazil's main trading partner - Temer will take the opportunity to promote Brazil’s concession and privatisation package, which was launched last week and includes airports, ports, highways and transmission lines, as well as power utility Eletrobras.
